The Galloway Highlanders Pipes & Drums was formed in 1994 as a non-profit arts education organization serving northern Utah,
and seeks to broaden the publics interest in and appreciation for traditional Scottish piping and drumming. As a non-profit
organization, the band finances uniform and equipment needs primarily through performance fees and individual donations. It
costs upwards of several thousand dollars to outfit a band member with the full highland dress uniform, and every drum can cost

If you wish to support the GHP&D, there are several steps you can take to help our organization fulfill its mission of preserving
Scottish culture and traditional piping and drumming:
Donate money:
Donations to the GHP&D are tax-exempt and every dollar in financial support goes a
long way in helping the GHP&D provide free performances to local schools and
non-profit organizations, and assists in offsetting the equipment, uniform, and travel
costs the band incurs. You can donate directly to our mailing address and you will
receive a letter acknowledging your generous gift.
Hire the Band:
Hiring a solo piper or the full band for your next event can create a wonderful
atmosphere and the right amount of excitement. Performance fees vary, but by
hiring the band you get a memorable addition to your event in addition to supporting
the band.
Attend concerts:
There are many annual performances the band participates in throughout the year. By attending, and bringing your family and
friends, you'll be treated to great music and you'll be supporting the band at the same time by making a donation or purchasing a
ticket to the event.
Buy merchandise:
Buy a shirt, a hat, or whatever interests you from our collection of the GHP&D logo merchandise and show your support for your
favorite pipe band. All profit above the cost of goods and shipping goes directly to the band. Please contact the band for current
